Exo Terra

Reptiles and amphibians are cold-blooded and in their natural habitat they often use surfaces heated by the sun to warm up. The Exo Terra Heat Mat is a terrarium substrate heater that simulates these surfaces heated by the sun.

Exo Terra's Heat Mats are an ideal 24-hour primary or secondary heat source for tropical or temperate reptile and amphibian species and essential as a nighttime heat source for many desert species.

The Exo Terra Heat Mat permanently adheres to the terrarium, forming a solid bond for optimal heat transfer. Can be used with an Exo Terra Thermostat and/or in conjunction with additional heat sources for higher temperature species.

Exo Terra's Water Dishes have a very natural and realistic rock finish on the outside and a smooth non-pitted surface on the inside. The bowls are coated to prevent the development of harmful bacteria and make it easy to clean. The neutral natural colour allows easy integration in desert, tropical or any type of terrarium. Smaller reptiles, amphibians and insects can easily escape out of the Water Dish by the 'safety steps' inside the bowl to prevent drowning.

The Exo Terra Halogen Glow Light gives you the versatility of placing heat and/or light sources on your terrarium where needed. The device is sturdily constructed, with a metal reflector, heat resistant ceramic socket, and a spring-loaded swivel clamp. It can be easily turned off and on by the switch, mounted on the extra long power cord. The inside of the reflector is coated with a highly reflective luminous coating that continues to glow long after the lamp is turned off. This allows diurnal reptiles and amphibians to retreat in their night burrow or hiding without stress. A moon-like glow enables nocturnal reptiles and amphibians to see properly without disturbing their night cycle. It is also ideal to monitor your animals during night time, without switching on the lights which can cause stress and disorientation.

Exo Terra Breeding Box have the special feeding door at the front of the lid allows access for feeding and watering, even when the units are stacked. This makes feeding easy and prevents stress since the unit does not have to be moved in order to access it. The angled ventilation provides an optimal air-flow at all times, even when the unit is stacked.

The Rock Terrarium Background from Exo Terra is an easy to cut background that has an incredible natural look. It creates a multi-dimensional habitat that is ideal for climbing reptiles or it can be simply used to beautify the natural look of the terrarium.

A proper hiding area is an often-underestimated feature of a natural terrarium. Without a safe spot to hide and sleep reptiles and amphibians will easily develop stress that will effect their activity and appetite. With a realistic pebble design and an enlarged hiding volume, the Exo Terra Reptile Cave mimics natural hiding places of reptiles and amphibians. The Exo Terra Reptile Cave provides shelter as well as offering a cooler and more humid microclimate in your terrarium.

Dinosaurs ruled Earth for more then 140 million years and are considered to be the ancestors of today's reptiles. The Exo Terra Dinosaur Eggs Fossil Hideout adds a prehistoric accent to your terrarium and provides your pet with a safe and cozy multilevel hideaway. The hideout provides a shelter with multiple entrances for easy access and allows you to create a cool, moist microclimate inside the terrarium, which supports thermo-regulation and hydration and helps the natural shedding process of reptiles. It also provides  a safe and cozy spot to hide and sleep.

The Exo Terra Wire Light has a heat resistant porcelain socket designed to withstand up to 150 Watts (PT2060). Ideal for use with Ceramic Heater, self-ballasted mercury vapour bulbs, and all types of regular incandescent bulbs. The wire guard prevents unnecessary heat build-up. The Exo Terra Wire Light is the only lamp that meets all safety regulations when used in conjunction with the Exo Terra Ceramic Heater. Combine the Wire Light with the Exo Terra Light Bracket to suspend it securely above any glass terrarium.
